Hi, for creating bin package you need pipeline which will compile source code and create binary artifacts. Repository includes in services directory both systemd and openrc service files for ensuring daemon was started.

If you need additional help please contact me via email adrian.wozniak@ita-prog.pl, I'll try to help as much as I can.

Perfect solution would be creating CI pipeline in repository.

Since I took over maintaining the -bin and -git package, I could also help maintaining this one, @Tsumanu.

Please:

  • Add amdfand to the provides and conflicts arrays,
  • change the -bin dependencies to the generic ones (e.g. amdguid-glow-bin → amdguid), so that also the other packages can fulfill the dependencies and the user can choose what to install.

It's because https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/?h=amdfand-bin&id=8c7ba117f2f3f7188a77fcaf73ea18fbfa3f409f forgot to update .SRCINFO as well

I got this message everytime I do update

amdfand-bin: local (1.0.13-4) is newer than AUR (1.0.11-2)

Journalctl logs indicate that the service files in this package should be installed without execute permissions.

I tried to add automatic deployment but this caused huge problems with GitHub releases and package version. Long story short GitHub release for all packages is 1.0.11 and this application has version 1.0.13. AUR commits can't be reversed do my bug is irreversible.

All future versions of all amdgpud will be bumped to 1.0.14 to fix

Currently I'm on holidays but when I'll be back I'll prepare release
