@Kyuunex It's the same issue. Try to retrieve the PKGBUILD of
gnuradio-osmosdr
, build it and install the package you built. Finally build gqrx, the issue should be fixed. (Or you can try building gqrx in a chroot withrtl-sdr
)Kyuunex commented on 2024-05-16 03:12 (UTC)
here's the fail log https://0x0.st/XKCO.txt
note: i have rtl-sdr-blog-git installed as it's required for proper operation of my dongle.

@EuphoricCatface This is a normal phenomenon, I have bumped pkgrel when gnuradio was updated, but since the makepkg process lags behind the gnuradio update, pacman will prevent you from updating gnuradio (unless you uninstall gqrx first). A possible solution is to use an repository containing gqrx that is updated at about the same time as the official repository. If you want, I can change this dependency condition to be looser (But it can break the package if dependencies get out of sync)? I sincerely hope that there is a package maintainer(TU) willing to return gqrx to the official repository (or even sponsor me to become a package maintainer).

Pacman complained today it can't update
gnuradio
because of the dependency of this package. To solve this, I updated the system first with the dependency check ignored (# pacman -Syud
) and then reinstalled this package.z3hka commented on 2024-05-10 13:15 (UTC)
I just rembered, what happened. I use gqrx and aisdeco2 and gqrx needs extra/rtl-sdr while aisdeco2 needs librtlsdr.so.0 that is only available through rtl-sdr-librtlsdr-git so that's probably more of an aisdeco2 issue

@z3hka After trying all the AUR variants of
rtl-sdr
, I'm guessing you are usingrtl-sdr-librtlsdr-git
instead of thertl-sdr
from the official repository? It would be better if you tell me this information to save my time.@z3hka @LunaSquee This is a issue that is easy to solve once but not easy to solve in the long term. Because
gnuradio-osmosdr
depends onrtl-sdr
, you only need to rebuildgnuradio-osmosdr
to fix this link error. I have tested it successfully. But in the long term, you need to be careful that your specialgnuradio-osmosdr
is not replaced by the newer package from official repository and you will need to maintain your owngnuradio-osmosdr
updates.z3hka commented on 2024-05-09 18:50 (UTC)
I have the same issue, it seems to be related to the version of librtlsdr.
so librtlsdr is there but no .2
A terrible workaround that seems to work so far is adding a symlink with
ln -s /usr/lib/librtlsdr.so /usr/lib/librtlsdr.so.2
that makes gqrx run for now as far as i can see but is of course a horrible hack and can break at any pointMisaka13514 commented on 2024-05-07 00:01 (UTC)
@LunaSquee According to your log, the linker did not find
librtlsdr.so.2
. Do you have/usr/lib/librtlsdr.so.2
which is owned byrtl-sdr 1:2.0.1-3
?rtl-sdr
is a dependency ofgnuradio-osmosdr
and should be automatically installed if you syncdeps.LunaSquee commented on 2024-05-06 16:45 (UTC)
Also fails for me: https://termbin.lunasqu.ee/89vg
