The application crashes my complete Xorg session right when I start it and sends me back to the login screen. Anybody else experiencing this?

@sukanka The line has been removed in the latest release.

This line in rustdesk.desktop should be removed.

1.1.9 is only a pre-release at this point, so please don't flag this package out-of-date just yet.

@taotieren Can you please reply to or implement the changes proposed by the other commenters? E.g. the unnecessary make dependencies and the service that gets enabled on installation/update.

@taotieren Please stop starting/enabling rustdesk.service. Even if you stop/disable the service, in the next update it will be enabled again. This is a security issue.

Is there a particular reason why a direct Github URL is not desired?

After the switch to ghproxy I'm still having issues installing the package:

curl: (60) SSL: no alternative certificate subject name matches target host name 'ghproxy.com'
More details here: https://curl.se/docs/sslcerts.html

curl failed to verify the legitimacy of the server and therefore could not
establish a secure connection to it. To learn more about this situation and
how to fix it, please visit the web page mentioned above.
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://ghproxy.com/https://github.com/rustdesk/rustdesk/releases/download/1.1.8/rustdesk-1.1.8-manjaro-arch.pkg.tar.zst
    Aborting...

Navigating to https://ghproxy.com/ in any modern browser gives a SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN error.

@taotieren, please strongly consider moving away from download.fastgit.org as the source. I am consistently getting a 503 Error:

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 503
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://download.fastgit.org/rustdesk/rustdesk/releases/download/1.1.8/rustdesk-1.1.8-manjaro-arch.pkg.tar.zst
    Aborting...

and because of that can't proceed with installing the package.

When opening the url in a browser, a Checking your browser before accessing download.fastgit.org. message can be seen. The download doesn't start until the check is completed. This leads me to believe Cloudflare considers my curl client unsafe for any reason and refuses access.

Given the fact that it's not the first incident of this nature, I strongly advice against using fastgit in the PKGBUILD file.

Does this really need the rust package? I was hoping the -bin package would avoid that.
