Please seek an alternative software for this use case. Upstream is dead since 2020, and this code doesn't work with gnuradio 3.9+.
And gnuradio 3.8 is unbuildable, EOL since the beginning of 2022, and the project devs stated that they won't fix it as they lack manpower for it, and the majority of downstream modules have already been ported to newer gnuradio.

The .desktop file is not provided, so currently the only means to start this GUI application is from CLI. Please add it to the package. A working example would be:
