This package has been flagged out of date.
Dependencies vbetool
I don't own the device anymore so I am dropping this to the well of free picking.
i had to add "amixer set Master 4%%[+-]" in the volume-*.sh for eeepc701/4G (no line-out control)
do i miss a build dependancy ?
here is the log:

There seems to be a problem in the PKGBUILD : Compilation fails with error on line 55 : patch : command not found ?
v10.0-1:
* Added eee rc-script to handle "acpi-locks" on power off and suspend2ram. With default settings is now possible to press power-button and close the lid without fearing that suspending to ram would be eexcuted. It will also execute the power source plugged/unplugged command on startup.
* Handling the removal of /etc/acpi/events/anything should now be clearer.
For me /etc/acpi/handler_eee.sh does not exist.
I know it exist once but right now (after a new installation) it's not there
9-6: Initial support for eeepc-laptop kernel driver.
9-5: wlan.sh is now more informative and won't loop forever if wlan fails.
9-4:
Fixed volume level changing and mute with latest sound drivers.
9-3:
Added POWER_BUTTON_COMMAND, uses now madwifi-unload to unload madwifi driver modules and some typos fixed in eee.conf.
Now it's possible to run optional commands when AC adapter is plugged in or unplugged.
On may also modify external display to be in clone mode or set as extension to current Eee display (I think this was requested.).
Wlan should now be turned on succesfully every time, even on first try after boot/restart.
Packages ccan be always found in http://kapsi.fi/~ighea/eee/acpi-eee/ .
Asusosd is included in to this package.
