This package is out of date, upstream is at 1.9.2. This package needs gettext to build at current version, please add

makedepends=('gettext')

Also, in order to build documentation, xmlto has to be installed.

Did you really update the tarball? Release 1.6.10 is the most recent.

Changing md5sums=('f0026847dc0436c8645dc184bddda6ae') and the pkgver works her on x86_64.

Please remove automake and pkgconfig from the dependencies. They belong to the base-devel group and every AUR-user is adviced to install that group. And please use

license=('GPL')

rather than "GPL". The version number should be 1.6.2s.

The install command in the build function is
make DESTDIR=$pkgdir/$pkgname/$pkgver install || return 1
but it should be
make DESTDIR=$pkgdir install || return 1

The new version is 1.5.0
I edit the pkgbuild, changing the version name to 1.5.0
I don't find the md5sum number so I add a # to the line of md5sum :-( but... it works, thank

I adopted this package and updated and cleaned up the PKGBUILD.

NOTE: This is my first PKGBUILD, so if it doesn't work, then notify me.
