Updated plasmoids (some of them now depend on KDE 4.4 and qt 4.6). This PKGBUILD now depends on KDE 4.4. Please update to this new version after moving to KDE 4.4.

Package 'should' now be compatible with KDE SC 4.4. Please note, if you upgrade to 4.4 you should rebuild this package or plasma-desktop may crash or eat your hamster :P

I'll check plasmoid scripts again once i pass all the exams that i've got now.

As for KDE 4.4 - i'll make this PKGBUILD compatible once KDE 4.4 hits [extra]. You can delete the windowlist plasmoid from sources and remove the corresponding md5sum

Just in case your're still interested in plasmoid scripts: I just noticed that the plasmapkg installation program copied the metadata.desktop also under the directory .kde4/share/kde4/services with the filename plasma-applet-Plasmacon.desktop

BTW, I moved to Kde 4.4-RC1 and saw that it includes the windowlist plasmoid by default, so I can't test your package anymore

I've tried unzipping plasmacon.plasmoid and then placing Plasmacon directory in /usr/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids the same way as it looks in .kde4/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/ but it doesn't seem to work. Still plasmoid wouldn't appear (restaring plasma/KDE didn't help).

Ok, I'll check it later then.

On my system it's installed under .kde4/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/Plasmacon so I suppose that /usr/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids could be a good start :-)

BTW, if you decide to try it you may also add the newest version of yasp-scripted, which reached the 1.0 version.

Unfortunately, this is plasmoid-script and i don't know any way of installing this kind of plasmoids using PKGBUILD. Still it can be easily installed via plasmapkg -i plasmoidname.plasmoid.

Well, this plasmoid is updated almost every day (sometimes even 2 times a day). I'll update whole package when there is more plasmoids to be updated or something is broken. You can always change the source link for this plasmoid and corresponding md5sum and rebuild it yourself.

Updated plasmoids and removed few of them (can't remember which one were removed/updated, sorry im kinda out of time now).

If kdemod is detected then Stasks plasmoid is not compiled (from kdemod 4.3.0 its now default task manager included in kdemod-kdebase-workspace package).

kde-extragear-plasmoids is 4.3.0 ready now (removed packages that were not compiling/causing problems).

@Phlogiston, thanks for the info. I've just added additional makedepends for kdemod. However I'm not sure if this is the correct approach for this issue.

I installed some kdemod-*-devel packages which does pull in the needed files.

Could you add correct deps? I gues some devel packages are missing and adjustable clock does not compile here because of a missing file...

In Yasp webpage in kde-look, it says that you must uninstall any previous versions before installing 1.3
So, in this case, you must uninstall kde-extragear-plasmoids and reinstall it.

It's either KDE plasma or Yasp bug (most likely plasma didn't quit correctly and settings are gone), nothing i can do. However as i noticed Yasp 1.3 (which is now being used in this PKGBUILD) is plugin based, and at the moment it doesn't have any config options for font size or color.

After restarting the KDE do not applying some of the settings (font size and color) in the Yasp - Network and the Yasp - Temperature.

That's a plasma bug. You can try to find fancytasks plasmoid section in ~/.kde4/share/config/plasma-appletsrc and remove it, remember to close (kquitapp plasma)/kill plasma before editing the file.

Hi, fancytask plasmoid keeps appearing after i kill it. It stop when i close it but when i reboot, appears again. Anyone have these problem?
Where kde store all the plasmoid configurations?

To be honest, also i don't have any idea how to install script plasmoid system-wide :P

I dont know if there is a way to install gmail-plasmoid and other script plasmoids, system wide.

The advantage is that it would be available for all users.

Glad to hear that you like my PKGBUILD ;) As for the gmail-plasmoid - imho there is not point in adding it here, because its not a binary plasmoid but a plasmoid script. It can be easilly installed without compiling.

Also i've modified PKGBUILD again (flamelab in his mail gave me an idea). Now all the plasmoids are build in a "generic" way. The purpose of it is not to change the plasmoids directory in PKGBUILD everytime author updates them (and usually changes directory name...) it also makes it easy to add plasmoids that are not in PKGBUILD - adding a link to source of a plasmoids should do the trick. However its an 'alpha' version of this script, feel free to suggest what should i change or what doesn't work.

I've added hdaps plasmoid with the suggested patch and it builds just fine. Looks also like it works but can't be sure because i don't use hdaps.

There is a fix for that in 0.4

It looks like there is a bug in the 0.3 version of weather-forecast - there is no default Icon theme set.

However you can just set the following path in the plasmoid options:

/usr/share/apps/desktoptheme/default/widgets/plasma-weatherforecast.svg

After the update, I have no icons at weatherforecast
