wtf?
the package depends on xorg-fonts-type1.
At least in my case pacman -S xorg-fonts-type1 fixed the thing with the font error message.
Could you please fix this in the PKGBUILD?
Thanks for the info. Package updated to the latest version :)
New version out. We have a URL which will always point to the latest .run file, so if you want to use that it might be better. http://run.legendsthegame.net/
Updated. The installer (.run) file should choose the correct binary (i686 or x86_64), but please tell me if it works or not. I don't have a x86_64 install to test.
Please don't use "mv" in build(), use "cp" instead.
Please remove empty field and add arch() tag.
The checksum seems to have changed. I am getting a file with an md5 of bb4c79c9d744788daa2d74179bf859bb
\"anyone get this error and know how to fix?
\"\"\"OK, we can\'t even fallback to font : \'-*-courier-bold-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-*\'\"\"\"\"
install the following packages: xorg-fonts-100dpi and/or xorg-fonts-75dpi

Updated to the latest version
Perhaps you should start a thread on the forums (and link to it here) specifically for legends players. We can leave our details and post any game times. I\'d definitely be up for that.
A little offtopic, but do you guys play this game? if so, what\'s your gamer tags? I play almost everyday under [DA]lnxusr so chances are if you\'ve played i\'ve seen you. Anyway, I might make a PKGBUILD for BTMappack (collection of community-made maps and abandoned stock maps) and a few of the nice addons (like jVoicepack, AltSpeedPing hud, and KnochenT2) when I get some time.
Oops, I didn\'t notice a new version has been released. The out of date flag doesn\'t notify me :(
Fixed
please edit the .desktop file to have a FULL icon path.... \'legends.ico\' isn\'t good enough for xfce, \'/usr/share/pixmaps/legends.ico\' is. thanks
Cool, legends works now, can\'t tell you which one did it because its only just decided to work now, even though I did a full reboot before! weird!
I think the package is \"xorg-fonts-type1\".
If that doesn\'t work try \"xorg-fonts-100dpi\" and \"xorg-fonts-75dpi\".
I get the following error:
OK, we can\'t even fallback to font : \'-*-courier-bold-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-*\'
These posts talk about it.

im not sure what font package is needed though.
But it appears that you have it installed or it wouldn\'t work!
Adopted package. I rewrote the PKGBUILD, it is now at the latest version.
I\'ll re-adopt this package when I get some time.
Legends has been updated (with a patch thats actually easy to get for once!).
heh, you could do that echoing into the file as a heredoc, and it would look clearer. Just a minor optimization/clarity suggestion, otherwise, peachy.
found a working link to the file
Updated package to be arch standards compliant
Unfortunately the only working mirror requires a cookie to download from!
As such, you cant use pacman to dl it!! please dl the file manually using this link

Hopefully theyll fix their mirrors and I can get around this stupid problem
