I'm on holidays now, I'll fix it when I come back next week (somewhere around 16-8).
problem dependencies in KDE 4.3, kdebase no exist, replace for kdebase-workspace o kdebase-runtime
Fixed.
==> Building and installing package
==> ERROR: El script de instalación (pacpl.install) no existe.
Error: Makepkg was unable to build pacpl package.
install=$pkgname.install <<<< is really necesary this line??
Works fine without kdebase and on x86_64
I made it back, but am not using kde anymore, so I'm not using the program.
Sadly it seems like the maintainer is lost on his trail. Version 4.0.3 is out. Anyone want to adopt it?
I also had the perl-mp4-info error. I fixed it by manually running extra/mod-install.sh from pacpl's source as root. Then i retried installing pacpl with pacman and it worked :-)
I will be away from computers for up to 6 months attempting to hike the Appalachian Trail :-D. Orphaning for now, I will re-adopt if package is orphaned when I return.
4.0.1
Updated to 4.0, cleaned up PKGBUILD.
Updated to beta3.
Removed amarok integration, moved to pacpl-amarok package.
Added pacpl-d3lphin package for d3lphin integration.
Updated to 4.0.0beta2
That is odd. I have the same version installed, and it works fine for me (just tried again too). Perl has a standard install location, so that shouldn't be it.
Maybe try the windows way and remove and reinstall the module and try again...sorry I can't be of much help.
pacman -Q perl-mp4-info
perl-mp4-info 1.12-2
Yes all dependicies where installed.
it needs the package perl-mp4-info. This is in the dependencies, did you install all of the dependencies?
Build fails
checking for perl module MP4::Info... no
configure: error: missing: MP4::Info. install this module before proceeding
Thanks for adding this!
I hated installing it before, it was just really odd the way it installed.

Initial release 4.0.0beta1.
Some of the codecs supported by this script aren't currently in any repository. I can post PKGBUILDs for any of these codecs if someone lets me know they use them.
