Seems to be missing a dependency on webkit2gtk.

I could fix the segfault issue on my machine and the simulator runs now as usual. I use Gnome. after debugging with gdb I noticed that the segfault occured in TT_New_Context() which pointed towards an issue with the fonts. What fixed it in my case: I reset all fonts in Gnome Tweaks to the default fonts.

@monkeynaleo I am having the same issue with getting a segfault when running the simulator. I tried running it in xorg and wayland sessions, tried downgrading the kernel , tried out different SDk versions etc. Nothing helped. The issue occurs on a fresh arch installation from a few days ago. The weird thing is that up until then I had the simulator fully working on an older arch installation which had also all packages updated and the newest kernel. If anybody has any idea I would be very thankful. It seems that a couple of people are experiencing this issue.

Anyone having issues running the simulator? I am getting a segfault when I run it as a local user. When I launch it with 'sudo', it gets further, but still runs into issues. Any tips/ideas?

Hello, since Jan 5, 2024 the Garmin SDK already progressed to v6.4.2, I'm happy to take over maintenance of this package if there is a wish / need for this. If that's possible please let me know. //cc @bekkra
