I have added a patch to the Elisp code, so it should work with 0.93-4 now. Thanks for your report!

Fuel (=an emacs mode for factor) doesn't work properly! "M-x run-factor" fails with the error message: "Could not run factor: /usr/lib/factor/factor is not executable" The factor executable named "facotr-vm" lies in /usr/bin. My own simple-minded workaround for solving this problem consists in replacing (t "factor") by (t "/usr/bin/factor-vm") at line 38 in "/usr/lib/factor/misc/fuel/fuel-listener.el".

My bad, I uncommented the bootstrapping line for debugging purposes because it took quite long and forgot to add it back in. I uploaded a fixed version, please try again.
