The orphan request won't do you much good because this package needs an upstream rebase on current gnome-shell. Unfortunately we don't have time to dedicate to that currently but we absolutely plan to get back to it.

In the meantime anyone who is interested is welcome to contribute rebases and updates upstream.

Thanks. After rebuilding g3k-git and gxr-git I was able to successfully install gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git again.

Oops, updated srcinfo too (it's the metadata the AUR is showing on the website and AUR helpers use).

If you don't have g3k_context_start_renderer, then you need to build a more recent version of gk3-git. You also probably need to update gxr-git.

Oh sorry, the SRCINFO is optional. I had to uninstall the package to first upgrade my system. But now the build fails with this: "/usr/src/debug/gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git/build/../gnome-shell/src/shell-vr-mirror.c:1479: undefined reference to `g3k_context_start_renderer'"

Seems you forgot to update the SRCINFO file.

Sorry for the wait. It's because archlinux updated from gnome-shell 43 to gnome-shell 44.

I made a 44.1-xrdesktop branch upstream and updated the AUR package now.

There's also a new texture copy method that hopefully will finally work everywhere, if not please file a bug.

Cannot upgrade mutter because of this: :: installing mutter (44.1+r2+g82bd40dcbc-1) breaks dependency 'libmutter-11.so=0-64' required by gnome-shell-xrdesktop-git

This also needs bash-completion in makedepends.
