If you use this version of the interface and the plugin fork by jumoog, it mostly seems to work. In my testing, both auto skip and the button prompt have been working fine. https://github.com/jumoog/intro-skipper

@ddxtanx I already switched to this fork, but they also didn’t update to 10.8.13 yet.

It seems that https://github.com/Bobby306/intro-skipper is a fork people are rallying behind, the upstream could be updated to that.

extra/jellyfin-web
installs to/usr/share/jellyfin-web
as well, so that’s correct. If you want to propose installing to a different directory, you can create a bug report there, I'm just following their conventions.Yep, I also noticed that upstream has been archived and am currently unsure about what to do. Maybe someone will create a fork to which we can switch. For now I'm just using jellyfin-web 10.8.10 together with jellyfin-server 10.8.11, which seems to work fine.

Ideally, the install directory should be /usr/share/jellyfin/web.
Also upstream has been archived, is the web interface is already outdated.

Thanks for the quick response. Apologies, after looking at the PKGBUILD for jellyfin-web/-server again but this time a bit closer I can see my mistake.

@AlexBocken
jellyfin-web
only provides the webinterface for jellyfin.jellyfin-server
provides the server, service files and tmpfiles. You can look this up here: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=jellyfin#n58This package here already is a drop-in replacement for
jellyfin-web
and may be used together with thejellyfin-server
package. It doesn't really make sense to add the server component as well, as it doesn't need to be modified in order to be compatible with the IntroSkipper plugin.AlexBocken commented on 2023-08-22 09:11 (UTC)
Thanks for the work of maintinging this package. Is there a reason you left out the additional files which jellyfin-web provides such as tmpfiles and service files? Would be great if this repo could just be a drop-in replacement for jellyfin-web.
