Good morning. I just realized that the desktop file needs to be tweaked to work properly.
Instead of changing the desktop file manually, you can download the desktop file directly from the github repository. use this direct link:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Lime3DS/Lime3DS/master/dist/lime3ds-gui.desktop
instead of the file you included, and don't forget to update the g2sums and update the filename in the package function.
