For more information, check the table at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Mkinitcpio#Possibly_missing_firmware_for_module_XXXX. I try to keep it updated too.

https://aur.archlinux.org/account/Kastagirkurg yea i actually tried to look it up but found nothing, but generally what does than firmware even do?

@TheBigGreatMango yes i believe it is. ast_dp501_fw-bin-1.0-1-any.pkg.tar.zst

You can download it here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/bluestarlinux/files/repo/x86_64/

And add it to your system by using "sudo pacman -U" if you place it here: /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ it will be where your regular upgrades are but your system will give a warning about the package not being in AUR which it isn't of cause.

Also "stupid" for something that's probably close to a dummy package. And to be honest I don't have a clue as to weather an actual AUR package will follow the same scheme as the file from Bluestar if / when it would be hitting the AUR repo.

possibly missing firmware ast, is this it?

Kastagirkurg commented on 2022-11-24 22:52 (UTC)

Warning about missing firmware for ast. This is not an issue for the meta-package of cause but it's new enough so I can't find it or look it up here.

Worked perfectly, thank you.

@cookiewookie I encounter that one to, but it is not fixable yet. While the driver is already in the kernel, the firmware is still unreleased. I will add it, as soon as intel does the release.
