doesn't seem to be working with this driver.
Is this a well-known problem?

Currently this does not work with the latest kernel - linux-5.12.15.arch1-1 so I downgraded my kernel back to linux-5.12.14.arch1-1 for now
Edit: I realise nvidia-beta-dkms is what my use case requires
Hey, what about this? https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/laptop-backlight-control-regression-with-465-24-02/175585/8 In asus ROG g752 brightness not work with 465 and 470... With 460 every OK!
here is a very simple diff to get 470 running
apply it with patch PKGBUILD -i XXX.patch

Yeah, your Manjaro's got a different kernel name.
If you are struggling to install this package on Manjaro, you probably need to install nvidia-beta-dkms.
450.51
Breaks screen tearing fixes (both forceCompositionPipeline and forceFullCompositionPipeline).
@RemoteAdmin Fixed this issue in the nvidia-utils-beta package.
nvidia-beta and nvidia-utils-beta both contain a LICENSE file at the same filepath. This leads to a conflict at installation. We either have to remove the LICENSE file from this package again or rename either the one from this or the utils one.
I would like to thank @Det for all his hardwork in maintaining the nvidia beta packages on the AUR during the past years.
You'll be missed in the Arch community. My best wishes in your journey.
I hope you can reconsider using Arch again :)
