If you are experiencing issues with the VPN then

flush the database and restart
disable the use of VPN in options and restart again

The movies list should now load properly

I don't see images at all. No covers or thumbnails. Also, the traiers aren't working. Perhaps there are some missing dependencies not listed in the PKGBUILD?
