@queenbiscuit311 I see. I hardly use Reddit on my laptop and wasn't aware of such problem. I am looking forward for your pkg. Also opera developer is updated to latest version feel free to test and report any bug in it's respected page!

@MojArch youtube seems unaffected, but try to load videos on a website like reddit or twitter without the ffmpeg codecs and the problem will become apparent

@gladykov I made opera-ffmpeg-codecs-bin which is basically exactly that but based off the snap package that replaces the ubuntu package

Do we even need it? I mean i use and maintain opera-developer and YT has no problem for me. If you can provide a link so we can check how much bad it would be without this codecs i might get interested and try to fix it. It's long time i haven't installed this Package.

I think this package could take a vivaldi-codecs-ffmpeg-extra-bin route, or reusing precompiled package chromium-codecs-ffmpeg-extra from ubuntu repository:

This way no crazy build / download times

12GB free on my disk wasn't enough to install a 5MiB package? What's going on?

I had to remount /tmp with 24GB in order to install this. It occupied 21GB in /tmp and the install size was 5.60MiB. Seriously... this is ridiculous.
