2026-02-17Use Peter's Qt6 port of dream for nowMichael Laß
Unfortunately, dream received little love in the last years, making it hard to compile and run on modern systems. But now there is some life again, driven by different developers. Up-to-date repositories are: * https://github.com/hpeter3/dream * https://github.com/Drm-tools/dream/ See the following mailing list exchange: https://sourceforge.net/p/drm/mailman/drm-devel/thread/9EB06E34-66CB-49F3-96B2-CB9CAD4F80AF%40yahoo.com/#msg59272833 Hopefully, those developments will converge into a single maintained version of dream again. For now, stick to Peter's Qt6 port as it adopts new technologies and builds and runs well on Arch Linux. Personally, I was able to receive Radio Romania at 18.3dB SNR using 16-QAM modulation with this build.
