codebuddy-ide-cn — Licensing Notice

This package is an unofficial, community-maintained Arch Linux package.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Tencent.


1. The packaging recipe (PKGBUILD)
----------------------------------

The PKGBUILD that produced this package, together with the helper
repository at:

    https://github.com/JipZeonGit/codebuddy-ide-cn-linux

are licensed under the MIT License. See LICENSE.helper-MIT in this
directory for the full MIT text.

The MIT grant covers the packaging recipe and the conversion scripts
ONLY. It does NOT extend to the bundled Tencent CodeBuddy IDE binaries.


2. The bundled software
-----------------------

The Tencent CodeBuddy IDE binaries installed under /opt/codebuddy-ide-cn
are obtained at install time directly from Tencent's official CDN by
the end user's machine, using the upstream URL referenced in the
PKGBUILD's source=() field.

These binaries remain subject to Tencent's proprietary CodeBuddy
service license. By using this software you accept the upstream license
terms published by Tencent at:

    https://copilot.tencent.com/


3. Distribution stance
----------------------

This repository does not redistribute any Tencent binary. It only
provides automation that fetches them from Tencent's official URL on
 behalf of the end user, who is presumed to be entitled to access those
URLs under Tencent's terms of service.
