Thank you for the package and your service @Muflone, but after a couple months, I assumed you had enough of maintaining this and had to take and build it locally myself since YouTube has a habit of breaking apps like these, and being a Pro member, I need the updates essentially as soon as they drop to fix what YT breaks.

This PKGBUILD downloads and installs a precompiled binary, so you should

  • rename this package to 4kvideodownloaderplus-bin (i.e. with the -bin suffix),
  • after renaming, add
    • provides=("4kvideodownloaderplus=${pkgver}"),
    • conflicts=("4kvideodownloaderplus"),
    • replaces=("4kvideodownloaderplus<=25.3.1.0220") (or whatever is the latest version before renaming).
