Thanks, everything builds now. Sorry I didn't respond, I made the post, but forgot to subscribe to the comments. :\

@qwertzdenek: Thanks the the suggestion. I've switched the build to use qt5. Adding qt5-script (and qt5-tools in makedepends) makes the qt5 build work correctly for me in a clean chroot.

@trichards: I finally built it using QT5. I missed qt5-script. So you need:
'qt5-base' 'qt5-script' 'poppler-qt5'

now you can set desired version to 5 and get rid of 4.
Happy TeXting

@henkm: Thanks for the feedback; I've added that flag to the PKGBUILD.

You can force CMake to use qt4 by adding the following to the CMake options:
-DDESIRED_QT_VERSION:STRING=4

This made it compile for me (you may need to clean out leftover stuff, I deleted and redownloaded the whole project)

@trichards: I can confirm that. CMake require QT4 so I hope he know what is doing. It crashed in section QtPDF for me. I don't know how to force QMake to accept QT5.

@jakebailey: I built this package successfully before pushing changes to the AUR, both in my normal environment, and in a clean chroot.

What is the output of your "TeXworks has been configured:" section while building?

I can't seem to build this release (v0.6.0) at all. Tons of errors, more than I'm willing to copy here. It seems like some of the source is being made for Qt5, for example:

In file included from /home/jake/texworks/src/texworks-release-0.6.0/plugins-src/TWLuaPlugin/TWLuaPlugin_automoc.cpp:2:0:
/home/jake/texworks/src/texworks-release-0.6.0/plugins-src/TWLuaPlugin/moc_TWLuaPlugin.cpp:15:2: error: #error "This file was generated using the moc from 5.6.0. It"
#error "This file was generated using the moc from 5.6.0. It"
^
/home/jake/texworks/src/texworks-release-0.6.0/plugins-src/TWLuaPlugin/moc_TWLuaPlugin.cpp:16:2: error: #error "cannot be used with the include files from this version of Qt."
#error "cannot be used with the include files from this version of Qt."
^
/home/jake/texworks/src/texworks-release-0.6.0/plugins-src/TWLuaPlugin/moc_TWLuaPlugin.cpp:17:2: error: #error "(The moc has changed too much.)"
#error "(The moc has changed too much.)"
^

Has anyone had any success building this?

When I zoom some document, texworks uses a lot of CPU and the movement of the magnifying glass is slow. I have also built texworks on Crunchbang and if I copy the texworks binary to my Arch setup it works fine so I am using the binary built on Crunchbang. What can be? the compiler?

Just thought that I'd mention that my issue with multiple monitors was resolved by an update at some point a couple months ago.
