@missingSleepDeps: Sorry, life's been nothing but pain the last few months so I neglected this program.
I think the "unable to allocate" issue is due to old databases not being able to load after updating to a newer version because I changed the structure of the data, so it can be solved by removing the entire config directory (~/.config/ablavema).
But now that I tested it, it seems that fetching some of the categories no longer works (just gives a thread panic in the console and the GUI is stuck "fetching", though you can still interact with it like when there's no internet). Archive and LTS package fetching works, so I reckon it's because the site changed so the scraping is failing. I'll try to get this fixed as soon as possible, I'm just AFK at the moment.

Not working on Manjaro. Yesterday I got a
double free or corruption (out)
from Konsole, today I get a weirdunable to allocate
(trabazillions of bytes)of memory
and the inability to ^C or ^Z forcing me to use Ksysguard to kill the program...(the pc has been on from yesterday to today)
