In fact, forcing the use of python2 in all scripts seems to help a little, but even using sources from git, I get an error when trying to build: Build failed -> task in 'abraca' failed (exit status 1): {task 139685775746064: valac abraca-application.vala,abraca-album-view.vala,abraca-artist-grid.vala,abraca-client.vala,abraca-collections-cellrenderer.vala,abraca-collections-model.vala,abraca-collections-view.vala,abraca-config.vala,abraca-configurable.vala,abraca-coverart.vala,abraca-drag-and-drop.vala,abraca-equalizer-model.vala,abraca-equalizer-widget.vala,abraca-filter-browser-model.vala,abraca-filter-browser.vala,abraca-filter-editor.vala,abraca-filter-model.vala,abraca-filter-searchbox.vala,abraca-filter-view.vala,abraca-filter-widget.vala,abraca-medialib.vala,abraca-nowplaying.vala,abraca-playlist-model.vala,abraca-playlist-view.vala,abraca-playlist-widget.vala,abraca-rating-entry.vala,abraca-resolver.vala,abraca-selected-rows-mixin.vala,abraca-server-browser.vala,abraca-server-browser-dialog.vala,abraca-server-discover-tcp.vala,abraca-server-discover-unix.vala,abraca-server-discover.vala,abraca-server-prober.vala,abraca-stock.vala,abraca-time-slider.vala,abraca-transform.vala,abraca-treerow-map.vala,abraca-treeview.vala,abraca-window.vala -> abraca-application.c,abraca-album-view.c,abraca-artist-grid.c,abraca-client.c,abraca-collections-cellrenderer.c,abraca-collections-model.c,abraca-collections-view.c,abraca-config.c,abraca-configurable.c,abraca-coverart.c,abraca-drag-and-drop.c,abraca-equalizer-model.c,abraca-equalizer-widget.c,abraca-filter-browser-model.c,abraca-filter-browser.c,abraca-filter-editor.c,abraca-filter-model.c,abraca-filter-searchbox.c,abraca-filter-view.c,abraca-filter-widget.c,abraca-medialib.c,abraca-nowplaying.c,abraca-playlist-model.c,abraca-playlist-view.c,abraca-playlist-widget.c,abraca-rating-entry.c,abraca-resolver.c,abraca-selected-rows-mixin.c,abraca-server-browser.c,abraca-server-browser-dialog.c,abraca-server-discover-tcp.c,abraca-server-discover-unix.c,abraca-server-discover.c,abraca-server-prober.c,abraca-stock.c,abraca-time-slider.c,abraca-transform.c,abraca-treerow-map.c,abraca-treeview.c,abraca-window.c} ''

I've got an error compiling this package: Build failed Traceback (most recent call last): File "waftools/", line 59, in _subiter self._step() File "waftools/", line 49, in _step self.current = next( StopIteration

The above exception was the direct cause of the following exception:

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/lib/waf/waflib/", line 344, in process ret = File "waftools/", line 97, in run self.inputs[0].read().splitlines(), ''))} File "waftools/", line 95, in <dictcomp> groups = {group[0]: set(group[2:]) for group in ( File "waftools/", line 96, in <genexpr> list(category) for category in split( RuntimeError: generator raised StopIteration

-> task in 'abraca' failed with exit status 1 (run with -v to display more information) Would somebody know where it comes from? Thanks for your help!

The error was introduced due to the update to waf version 1.9. I included a patch to fix it. Thank you for the notice.

I've got an error compiling this package: src/abraca-application.c:10:26: fatal error: build-config.h: No such file or directory #include <build-config.h> ^ compilation terminated. although the file is present in the build directory Waf is in. Anybody's help is welcome :)

It now uses archlinux' distributed waf instead of the one included and should build again.

mandog commented on 2014-06-20 13:41 (UTC)

This package does not build does not get past the download stage please fix

Last time I checked it did not work with neither libgee nor libgee06. Now it does. Thanks for the notice.

vbmithr commented on 2013-12-05 18:59 (UTC)

Please update the libgee dependency to libgee06

Resolved the subzero problem by pulling it in as a git submodule. A separate package would probably be more clean, but I think the wscripts tie it in too deeply to be worth the effort. Removed waf from the dependencies again. All necessary waf is completely included in the project.
