The xyzz/acquisition repo was archived / made read-only nearly 2 years ago on 2022-08-19. There is a fork with recent activity and leads xyzz/acquisition by a very respectable number of commits. This fork has released 12 new versions beyond v0.8b, which is where xyzz/acquisition ends.

I would not recommend using this package. Perhaps the software project itself is still useful, assuming it is being actively maintained somewhere.

The source file "0.4-PLUS.tar.gz ..." does not pass the validation with sha256sums and the program is unable to build !
