I don't know if you guys are active anymore, but please consider rebasing to this fork: https://github.com/senatoreg/adapta-gtk-theme

It's being somewhat actively maintained by a lone dev, and they've added GTK4 support.

I will, if/when they reopen Github issues. I just wanted to see if anyone else is seeing the same problem and have a workaround.

With the latest Chrome, inactive tabs are unreadable with Adapta (see screenshot).
