The PKGBUILD is working. Do you adopt?

Here's a tweaked PKGBUILD to use the `steinberg-vst36` package: https://bpaste.net/show/b6290c4a089c

Hi there! Thanks for you package. I was wondering why the Steinberg SDK is provided through sources and not by using this dependency: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/steinberg-vst36/ . Perhaps because a specific version is needed?

PKGBUILD updated, thanks for the notification.

pkgbuild fails. editing it and removing parentheses from the url and description fields allows it to install.

@capoeira, my primary goal is compatibility with Bitwig Studio. Ardour uses threads in a different way and sadly, the current version of airwave can't work with it.

the .so wont apear in Ardour for me. The scanner wont find it. (path included) in Qtractor it shows up, but it wont add to a track.

It seems that Steinberg have allowed to download VST SDK without registration, so I've updated the PKGBUILD. Now it downloads SDK automatically.

As far as I see, the PKGBUILD uses personal id (login/password) of concrete account. From a legal point of view, it turns out that the owner of this account violates the agreement. I do not be surprised if it will be banned.

I didn't see that you put your account details in the PKGBUILD ;D Does steinberg states that those should not be shared?
