I bumped a pkgversion 3. I know I have bundled some of the packages but using qt5-webengine, which isn't working on AUR, was way worse.

fullarnoldostupi: you are using the version 1:1.0.34.551-1 but the latest one is the 1:1.0.34.551-2. Try cleaning your cache and redownload it

Damn, don't want to compile qt5-webengine from source anyway

<deleted-account> commented on 2026-03-11 15:16 (UTC)

qt5-webengine from AUR is actually broken. My suggestion is to use albion online installer from the site and/or the one in steam. Up to you

<deleted-account> commented on 2026-03-11 09:47 (UTC)

I'm updating it to latest version. Beware of the fact that qt5-webengine is still needed and it requires to be compiled (like in gentoo) so it will take a lot of time depending on your machine.

an alternative for people whom it dosen't work would be to use the official albion linux download from their website and run in terminal with ./albion-setup and it will download

sTiKyt commented on 2025-10-15 06:09 (UTC)

Yeah, sure, that's why we have AUR packages for this, to not use them..

no need to use aur to download and play albion. download linux version directly from albion download page and ask chatgpt for aid on how to install for arch. this aur version gets stuck on updating and all other methods i tried had issues with the anticheat software (lutris, wine, proton)

It can't even download a game, can it?

I only see the launcher endlessly moving the green loading line over and over again...
