Wow! Thanks! That was fast! Sorry if I was inpatient, I thought I broke the package by pointing out the missing $, so I mentioned the checksum to help if someone's trying to install it and doesn't know why it fails.

I saw 'support for newer AMD platform' and amd-sfh , I Got excited and didn't pay attention to ALS part :D

My device doesn't even have an ALS sensor! :D Like most I was looking forward for the Accelerometer to become functional on my Flex 5, but I guess I was naive to have hope!

@exjayjardeejadja You're too fast for me. :) I just implemented most of the upstream patches. I will add the HPD sensor as well when I find the time. Beware that this is a rewrite of AMD's upstream driver. It is not the same code base. Also the patch you referred to only implements support for the ALS sensor for the newer SFH device. The probably most wanted ACCEL sensor still seems to not be implemented for the new platforms.

Thanks for fixing the missing $, But now the dkms.conf fails the validity check, it's sha256sum on line 15 of the PKGBUILD needs to be updated to bc325cc6a2e01f8de499676c345962b95d681fcdc623e995a9c5ddfeb77227af

I think There is a tiny mistake in the dkms.conf line 4, there is a $ missing before PACKAGE_NAME.

By the way is it possible to modify this package to install the new driver from this commit which adds support for newer Ryzen SoC's like Renoir and Cezanne?
