thanks snack, updated, it now supports my 290x, though im getting errors on teapot sample: " GL_ARB_shader_objects GL_ARB_texture_float ERROR: Failed to initialize openGL. " glxinfo is showing mentioned extensions. Maybe someone knows how to solve this?

updated to 1.2-2484: - but it's still not working with pxp packages... I now think that the only way to get it working is to change pxp into dirty AMDs linking, but I would like to avoid it under any circumstances... soon I will write a bugreport, will let you know

ajajaj, opencv inside amdapp-sdk is complicating things, for now I'm unable to perform it's update. if I won't be able to figure it out I will update it anyway on saturday

ah yes, thanks for the news! There's also fresh AMD APP SDK, I already got the packages build but I need to test them, gimme some time... Maybe tomorrow I will update and give some infos

A new CodeXL version has been released here: http://developer.amd.com/tools-and-sdks/heterogeneous-computing/codexl/ Maybe the PXP bug is fixed :-)

yeah, there's some problem with codexl package when it's used in combination with pxp packages, i finally ran it's interface with export LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/usr/lib/fglrx" but it's crashing when trying to run ie AMD Tea Pot sample so I guess that it's still unable to see libgl
