Thanks for the package! aik-unpack failed for me with the message that cpio was missing. You could add

depends=( 'cpio' )

to PKGBUILD

I'm open to suggestions to improve this, as I can see how I could do a much better job. I just needed this functionality so I thought I'd share my rushed work.

I'll rework this at a later date, either way.
