There is a problem with .SRCINFO. It contains pkgver = 63 instead of 6, but as PKGBUILD is 6, pamac ask in loop to upgrade.

Could you please do 

makepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO

and commit it?

I have fixed the issue of Animata class Drawable confusion with that in /usr/include/X11/Xlib.h and successfully built and run it. Cheers! Change _svntrunk variable to svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/animata/svn/trunk/ and pkgver to 6. Have fun!

I have mirrored the svn repo on SourceForge. Change _svntrunk variable to svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/animata/svn/trunk/ and pkgver to 4. The repo issue should be solved.

Animata is not developed anymore. I will update the PKGBUILD with the Google Code archive an orphan this package.

Google has closed its Google Code service. Maybe there's another source for this package? Or needs a new mirror? Animata probably needs a new maintainer by the looks of things.

i get this error even after comentig line 41 svn: E170013: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'http://animata.googlecode.com/svn/trunk' svn: E160013: '/svn/trunk' path not found ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build animata-svn.

revision is now r63. please comment line 41.

The file animata.desktop doesn't exist in SVN anymore which makes the package break. If you comment out line 41, everything works fine (for me at least, tested on x86_64)
