The 3.11.1 version has been deployed

The launcher should not update itself in the first place.

Please make sure the transition.conf of dofus & wakfu contains

update.projects = ["game"]

instead of

update.projects = ["transition", "game"]

Since ankama-transition-release.tar.gz is updated often, the PKGBUILD no longer checks its md5sum.

hagabaka commented on 2014-07-04 23:16

Updated md5sum. For the file conflicts, you can forcefuly install the package using

# pacman -U --force ankama-transition-3.9.2-3-*.pkg.*

Or remove the old files first using

# rm -rf /opt/ankama/transition/

This was because the previous source package didn't install some of the files that the updater downloaded. I don't think it should happen often in the future.

MD5 has changed for the package to 8c195b7765288bdbc298a5677a960929

Also, install is failing once the MD5 is corrected with:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
ankama-transition: /opt/ankama/transition/libnaughty.so exists in filesystem
ankama-transition: /opt/ankama/transition/libnaughty.so.1.0 exists in filesystem
ankama-transition: /opt/ankama/transition/libnaughty.so.1.0.0 exists in filesystem
ankama-transition: /opt/ankama/transition/libprocname_helper.so exists in filesystem
ankama-transition: /opt/ankama/transition/qt.conf exists in filesystem
ankama-transition: /opt/ankama/transition/transition-service exists in filesystem
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

Hi, I get an error with md5sum validation for DofusInstall-amd64.tar.gz
Any issue ?

@lee8oi As the package description says, this is the *updater* for Dofus and Wakfu. You need install the dofus AUR package for Dofus.

The unlisted Dofus entry in your menu is probably not related to these packages. Maybe you installed Dofus using wine in the past, or added a browser shortcut to the menu by accident.

so I installed this package. There's no menu entry, nothing says what I'm supposed to do to play the game, but I did a search in my menu and found the unlisted Dofus entry, clicked it, ended up in my web browser at the dofus page asking me to download and install dofus.....(facepalm) Why install this whole package just to end up on their download page?

Files from ankama-transition.tar.gz cause "Failed to load mandatory plugin core" error on 32bit systems, so the PKGBUILD now uses the bundled transition in Dofus installers.
