I have packaged the GcpUploader project here: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gcpuploader/

If somebod is interessted to have support for automatically uploading files to garmin connect, then somebody has to package the project: http://sourceforge.net/p/gcpuploader/wiki/Home/ I'm not using garmin connect. Also the scripting with automatic conversion of the FIT into TCX files is not tested, since I'm not using it.

The new package seems to work fine. Just remember to remove python2-pyusb-git and garmin-forerunner-610-extractor-git before installing, otherwise it conflicts with python2-pyusb-beta which is required by python2-openant-git.

That's right. Sorry for just noticing it now. I will update the package at the weekend. There will be two packages. This one will be renamed to antfs-cli-git and it will have python2-openant-git as dependency, which reflects the splitting upstream: https://github.com/Tigge/antfs-cli https://github.com/Tigge/openant Sorry for the inconvenience.

Is this currently working for anyone? My package build failes with the following error: cannot stat 'resources/ant-usbstick2.rules’ no such file or directory. In digging around in the git checkout it looks like that rules file is no longer provided by upstream. And that the upstream project has been renamed "antfs-cli."

It's working again - I discovered it was an issue with one of my USB ports and the timing of the update was just a red herring. Sorry for the misinformation.

It works for me under Linux 3.14, but I'm using a little bit more recent libusb 1.0.19-1. Maybe, you could first try to update this. In addition, you could try to check if the udev-rules works. Do you get any output from "ls -l /dev/ttyANT*", if the ANT-stick is plugged in?

Has this package stopped working for anyone else after a recent pacman update? https://github.com/Tigge/Garmin-Forerunner-610-Extractor/issues/97

Switched back to master branch.
