It acts as a DNS sinkhole to block ads.

If you install anti-ad-smartdns-git, you need to add the following line to /etc/smartdns/smartdns.conf:

conf-file anti-ad-smartdns.conf

If you install anti-ad-dnsmasq-git, you need to add the following line to /etc/dnsmasq.conf:

conf-file /etc/dnsmasq.d/adblock-for-dnsmasq.conf

BTW, the upstream project aims to block Chinese ads. It indeed blocks some common domains like doubleclick.net, but may not work so well if you don't browse Chinese sites or use Chinese apps at all. In that case, I suggest trying Pi-hole.

As it is installed it is useless. It just copies a file into a directory. It would be a good idea to include instructions for use.
