In case anyone gets this error message:
ERROR: Unable to find cxf-manifest.jar in /usr/bin/../lib
You have to relogin (or use another method) to make sure the script in /etc/profile.d/apache-cxf.sh is run, before the software works.

Sure, it's much easier to install it this way :) I wasn't aware of this prebuilt jar-thing in the packaging guidelines.

Thanks for the patch!
However I opted to downloading the prebuilt jar (the packaging guidelines allow this for java packages) as the maven build downloads a crapton of dependencies, which are not tracked by pacman.
Any objections?

Updated the package to 2.7.11, resolved midnight commander conflict and changed it to build from source as this is not a -bin package:

Package gives a 404, please update version number to 2.7.3, then everything works as expected.
