Looks like the file got updated:

    apache-flex-sdk.sh ... Passed

I've fixed the package. It's building fine now.

rantingpirate: Feel free to adopt this package and fix them!

Package isn't building for me, with two problems that I've found.

First: the url for playerglobal27_0.swc is incorrect (it's now "https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/playerglobal/playerglobal${player_version/./}.swc").

Second: when running makepkg after correcting the above, I get the following:
==> Verifying source file signatures with gpg...
apache-flex-sdk-4.16.1-bin.tar.gz ... FAILED (public key 6B0A7EC905061FC8 has been revoked)

Add PGP keys to conform to recommendations of new Pacman. Run the following command as a non-root user if errors encountered: gpg --recv-keys 83E0431CDA9CCFF2

Updated to 4.12.1

Version 4.12.0 is the latest stable [1], so unflag it. [1] http://flex.apache.org/download-binaries.html

Might want to merge this with the orphaned flex-sdk package

As of October 2013 Linux is officially supported. The SDK installer, both in bin and src form can be found here: http://flex.apache.org/installer.html

OK, but officially these are binaries for Mac. They will probably work in Linux too, however in Flex 4.9 Linux is not officially supported. I'm not sure if this package should be updated anyway? Or maybe creating a separate flex-sdk-experimental package would be a better choice?
