The solution to my problem: update icestorm-git first!

ivanovp commented on 2019-06-09 07:16 (UTC)

I cannot compile it: echo "const char *version_str = \"arachne-pnr 0.1+325+0 (git sha1 840bdfd, g++ g++ --version | tr ' ()' '\n' | grep '^[0-9]' | head -n1 -march=x86-64 -mtune=generic -O2 -fno-plt -O2)\";" > src/version_12247.cc make: No rule to make target '/usr/share/icebox/chipdb-lm4k.txt', needed by 'share/arachne-pnr/chipdb-lm4k.bin'. Stop. make: Waiting for unfinished jobs.... ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

A fix has been pushed now.

One /usr too much indeed. With your fix things are still not great. Files are now installed in local, but local should be avoided. Working on a fix ...

LongHairedHacker commented on 2017-01-25 18:42 (UTC)

For me the files were installed to: /usr/usr/local/bin/arachne-pnr /usr/usr/local/share/arachne-pnr/chipdb-1k.bin /usr/usr/local/share/arachne-pnr/chipdb-8k.bin Which is clearly one /usr to much. I guess upstream changes broke the DESTDIR variable. Changing line 28 of the PKGBUILD to make ICEBOX=/usr/share/icebox DESTDIR="$pkgdir" install seems to fix it.

Thank you for reporting, should be fixed now.

Because the pkgver is prefixed with "0." and the pkgver() function does not add the prefix, yaourt always wants to update this package. To fix this, the "0." needs to be removed from the pkgver variable in both the PKGBUILD and the .SRCINFO files.
