@hsa it was not because to build from AUR, you should install the whole base-devel group. However, I just added it.

Hello,

@georgezaf : I have the same error when the package pkg-config is not installed
@ilpianista : why pkg-config isn't a dependency ?

Thanks

@georgezaf I just tried in a clean environment and it built successfully.

Could not find directory of OpenSSL installation, and this `-sys` crate cannot
proceed without this knowledge. If OpenSSL is installed and this crate had
trouble finding it, you can set the `OPENSSL_DIR` environment variable for the
compilation process.

If you're in a situation where you think the directory *should* be found
automatically, please open a bug at https://github.com/sfackler/rust-openssl
and include information about your system as well as this message.

It looks like you're compiling on Linux and also targeting Linux. Currently this
requires the `pkg-config` utility to find OpenSSL but unfortunately `pkg-config`
could not be found. If you have OpenSSL installed you can likely fix this by
installing `pkg-config`.

Hi,

I guess this package is really nice. Is there a chance to get this package working on Arm architectures (for Raspberry Pi or other SOCs)? Unfortunately, the dependency `cargo` can't be satisfied since this package does not exist for archlinuxArm (just check [1]).

Thanks in advance.

what about just pushing them to lib and not enable them by default.
correct would be to install them to the proper dir and modify them by using service.d

@Shibumi please read my previous comment.

Hello,
Is there a specific reason that you move the service and timer files to /usr/share?
Why don't you move them to /usr/lib/systemd/system?

ilpianista commented on 2016-09-24 21:08

@dopsi Added curl as dependency. Thanks!

The systemd files are not meant to be enabled by default or even to be used by default. They are provided under share/arch-audit as examples.
