It seems that waht you've encountered could be a serious bug, which can be solved with early KMS (which, luckily, I enabled years ago).

I installed the lastest git version of xorg and used the configs from the docs.
But im getting drmSetMaster failed: Permission Denied.'

This package is obsolete in favor of extra/nvidia-prime, for better control of the utilization of graphic card, give aur/optimus-manager a try. BTW, nvidia-drm.modeset=1 seems to interfere with the automatic configuration of xorg-server, resulting in it's failing to initialize PRIME render offload, manually specifying the bus id of the graphic cards is a workaround for now.
