Exactly what I needed, thank you! The repo has since moved to https://codeberg.org/swsnr/rescue-image

@Strykar this package does not touch or modify the loaders or EFI variables, it simply introduces a new entry in the systemd-boot menu. To work with secureboot first archiso should support it (it doesn't at the moment) so not much can be done in that sense.
Update: You might be interested in taking a look at this repository that creates a rescue image that can be signed and therefore be compatible with secure boot.

This should be a default Arch installation option!
Any chance the rescue system could be updated to support Secure Boot? https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Unified_Extensible_Firmware_Interface/Secure_Boot#Editing_the_installation_medium
