Trade-off worth knowing: if you later update the package, users who've already run it once keep their existing ~/.local/share/arculator copy (their save states aren't clobbered, but they also won't automatically get updated ROMs/configs from a newer package version — they'd need to delete that directory to get a fresh bootstrap).
