if sourceforge are having problems, then I suggest you download the file from the site using your browser and drop it into the same folder as the package build.

The source link doesn't work when using makepkg, it downloads a 600~ bytes file instead of the full file...

This file is a web page and says:
We're sorry -- the Sourceforge site is currently in Disaster Recovery mode, and currently requires
the use of javascript to function. Please check back later.

I get this error at the end:

==> Finished making: argtable 2.13-1 (Mon Apr 4 16:42:46 CEST 2016)
loading packages...
error: 'argtable-docs-2.13-1-any.pkg.tar.xz': duplicate target

second @sekret on this, compiled great for me when I edited the arch line to 'any'... 'armv7h' gave an error installing the docs

sekret commented on 2016-02-05 23:21

Could you please add 'armv7h' to the arch line? It builds just fine on my Raspberry Pi 2 :)

Most probably it builds just fine for armv6h too (e.g. Raspberry Pi 1), but I cannot confirm...

The download link is fine. The AUR web app just doesn't parse bash.

Download link needs fixing: http://ix.io/foY

Short note to say that the PKGBUILD works fine here, compiles and generates the 2 packages correctly.

re:building - can't reproduce it on my end: http://ix.io/bwd

re:source quotes - it doesn't need double quotes because the variable contents have no spaces

re:package() function - there are already 2 package functions: package_argtable() and package_argtable-docs()

Also needs a package() function per latest guidelines.

Not building here...can't download source tarball. I believe the PKGBUILD source field needs double quotation marks around the URL, possibly other adjustments.

Apologies for the long overdue update!
