@oaken-source, Linaro no longer hosts any sources or builds of their own, so it is not useful to keep broken Linaro packages around.

@MarsSeed, why do you adopt a package, just to file a deletion request? Also, the package may report an old version, but it is not automatically outdated. Older GCC versions are useful, especially for bare-metal targets, that may depend on specific compiler behavior.

@mhdi, I will file a deletion request for this unneeded package later, when there are not thousands of pending requests, to avoid overburdening AUR PM's.

Hi.

I've worked a little bit with this today. Could you please edit the newlib's url to http://releases.linaro.org/archive/14.09/components/toolchain/newlib-linaro/newlib-${_newlibver}.tar.bz2 and add apply the patches from the following websites? http://osmocom.org/issues/1916 https://github.com/DragonFlyBSD/DPorts/issues/136

Regards

the build of this package fails on my system with gcc 5.3.0: cfns.gperf: At top level: cfns.gperf:101:1: error: ‘gnu_inline’ attribute present on ‘libc_name_p’ cfns.gperf:26:14: error: but not here there is a solution to this problem outlined here: https://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2015-08/msg00375.html I prepared a patch to integrate that solution into the PKGBUILD: http://pastebin.com/9x1ETxdi
