The desktop file should be working now.
About /tmp
mounted as noexec
, I only found this open issue: https://github.com/AppImage/AppImageKit/issues/1021, but I have no idea of how to fix it from the PKGBUILD. Any suggestions are welcome.

I also had to modify the exec line in the desktop file to /opt/around/Around.AppImage
. The package still didn't work for me. When running the app image manually on the command line I get the following error:
A JavaScript error occurred in the main process Uncaught Exception: Error: /tmp/.org.chromium.Chromium.w4J56A: failed to map segment from shared object at process.func [as dlopen] (electron/js2c/asar_bundle.js:5:1846) at Object.Module._extensions..node (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:1138:18) at Object.func [as .node] (electron/js2c/asar_bundle.js:5:2073) at Module.load (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:935:32) at Module._load (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:776:14) at Function.f._load (electron/js2c/asar_bundle.js:5:12789) at Module.require (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:959:19) at require (internal/modules/cjs/helpers.js:88:18) at Object.<anonymous> (/tmp/.mount_AroundUUMuka/resources/app.asar/node_modules/robotjs/index.js:1:15) at Module._compile (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:1078:30)
Unfortunately this is because it requires exec access to /tmp
which, for security reasons, I mount as noexec
. I don't know if this is something we can work around from the AUR package's perspective rather than the original developers.

I installed this package via Paru.
I had to manually modify the .desktop file afterwards because of two issues:
- The executable path was wrong (it was the temporary makepkg path instead of the final one)
- There were no Categories line, which caused it to be added to the Others section of my menu. I took the categories from Zoom, so:
Categories=Network;Application;
.
Besides this very minor issues, the package worked fine.
