yeah I'm still having problems with kernel's driver. I can maintain it if you want, up to you. I got to warn you that I have no experience with -dkms pkgs.

you're keeping a very close eye on asix's website, wanna take over and maintain this package? The latest kernels' drivers are working fine for me.
