'rapidjson' and 'glm' should be added to makedepends

xasy requires python-cson to run.

waytin commented on 2021-03-13 17:37 (UTC)

Great, I can build it successfully now. Thank you!

haawda commented on 2021-03-13 00:47 (UTC)

You don't, also fixed now.

Thanks for such a quick fix. The error of sha256sums is gone, but now I get ==> Validating source files with sha256sums... asymptote ... Skipped remove_include.patch ... Passed -> asymptote not satisfied, flushing install queue ==> Making package: asymptote-git 2:2.70.git.11.g3cac2756-1 (Fri 12 Mar 2021 12:33:07 PM CST) ==> Checking runtime dependencies... ==> Checking buildtime dependencies... ==> Missing dependencies: -> asymptote ==> ERROR: Could not resolve all dependencies. error making: asymptote-git Why do I need asymptote to build itself?

haawda commented on 2021-03-12 17:04 (UTC)

My mistake, please try again.

waytin commented on 2021-03-12 14:49 (UTC)

I got the following error. -> Found remove_include.patch ==> Validating source files with sha256sums... asymptote ... Skipped remove_include.patch ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! error downloading sources: asymptote-git Could anyone please tell me how to fix this?

This PKGBUILD will always pull and build from the latest sources. No need to flag out-of-date.

wos commented on 2020-07-13 19:04 (UTC)

Greetings!

Flagging as out of date as version 2.66 was already released.

afichet commented on 2019-12-19 19:30 (UTC)

Thanks for this up to date package. For installing on a clean system, just need to remove the asymptote dependency. Then, removing the workaround in prepare() works well.

supakorn-jamie commented on 2018-07-10 23:57 (UTC)

Just to note, but the release of Asymptote 2.45 (which is right now in master) requires a few more dependencies, including python-pyqt5 and librsvg. Also, we switched to Python3.

haawda commented on 2016-12-16 20:15 (UTC)

New git version gives longer version numbers, no need to update.

haawda commented on 2016-03-21 05:19 (UTC)

flex and bison are in base-devel.

incertia commented on 2016-03-20 18:47 (UTC)

as of 656cf97, the makefile requires bison (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/bison/) to make file 'camp.tab.cc' and flex (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/flex/) to make file 'lex.yy.cc'

Thanks, applied.

Since latest release of ghostscript, 3D pictures with text labels can’t be generated anymore. This also breaks compilation while trying to generate documentation examples… I’ve already filled a bug ticket with a patch to the asymptote team, however, if you think it would be a good idea to add the patch to the PKGBUILD until the upstream has fixed the issue here it is: http://pastebin.com/17vWtgJP cheers,

haawda commented on 2014-08-22 18:19 (UTC)

adopted again

haawda commented on 2013-12-05 19:58 (UTC)

Orphaning.

haawda commented on 2012-05-06 17:59 (UTC)

I filed a n upstream bug report (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3524123&group_id=120000&atid=685683). This only appears if you use my imagemagick-svn package. There is a new syntax for the convert command needed, which breaks the creation of latexusage.png. The patch I attached to the bug report should also work with stable versions of imagemagick (e.g. the one from the repo).

@kazuo Thanks!!! Working nicely now ^^

kazuo commented on 2012-02-17 12:48 (UTC)

@cagprado Thanks for noticing it. I put the file on /usr/share/vim/vimfiles/syntax as the vim${vimversion} is used only by the vim-runtime. I added a simple ftdetect too. So *.asy get a ft=asy. This file is sent upstream too.

Hallo! Currently the file asy.vim is installed in '/usr/share/asymptote' and it should be in '/usr/share/vim/vim${vimversion}/syntax' ^^
