The repo is still there: https://gitlab.com/hpdeifel/aurs. However, it seems that gitlab has changed the URL of the downloadable archive.

That said, I'm currently not using Arch and have therefore stopped developing aurs. If you're still using this package, please switch to a maintained AUR helper or fork the project.

Something is wrong with the source URL. I can't even get to the gitlab repo page, even when signed in to GitLab. It's like the repo is gone?
