Some of us do software development (commercial or/and open-source) and sometimes encounter really old software which still works and has only old autoconf support which needs a re-autoconf. :-)
Upgrading to a new autoconf version is prohibitive for this type of software due to economical and risk reasons.
Another reason is preservation (I'm actually for keeping old build instructions around, not only the binary packages on archive.archlinux.org). I'm not quite sure, but usually the packages are still in the gitlab (just not publicly visible). But I don't know, if they are not wiped at some point or moved to an archive. From a reproducability point of view I like to have all artifacts around also for old and archived packages (similar to SRPMs)).

Is there any reason this was reuploaded? It's not needed by anything, all active firefox (fork included) codebases do not need this anymore to build.
