I've updated the upstream URL, such as it is. The project seems to be rather dead upstream. I quit using it after upgrading to 4.0 myself.

The wiki has been closed, and awesome is now at https://awesomewm.org/. It's also at version 4 for a month now. awesome-scratch-git 3.4.14.2.g51f463b seems to work with awesome 4.0 for me.
